The Florida Scrub Jay

This image shows a single Florida Scrub Jay perched on the broken limb of a dead, bleached pine tree. The picture was taken on a summer day in early morning. The sky is clear blue with no clouds. The Florida Scrub Jay has bright blue feathers on its back and tail. Visible on the throat is a patch of white. Its belly is mostly white and its throat is light gray, almost white.
